Neurodevelopmental Approaches for Babies with Down Syndrome in Early Intervention

Geralyn Spiesz, MS, OTR/L

As therapists and early intervention professionals, we play a vital role in shaping the developmental paths of children with Down syndrome. Our work doesn’t just change abilities—it changes lives. That’s why adopting a neurodevelopmental mindset can make such a transformative difference.

By creating Organizing and Integrated Neurodevelopmental inputs, we can harness the power of the brain’s neuroplasticity for development and learning.
